General Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy treatment is an effective option for a range of problems from neck, lower back and other joint pain to post-operative care and sporting injuries. A skilful assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan will help give you the confidence you need to regain health, and return to normal activity.
At the core is the patient's involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their own treatment.

What does physiotherapy involve?
An individual treatment plan, agreed between you and your practitioner, will help shape your recovery. It may include pain reduction, physical rehabilitation (with hands on soft tissue mobilisation or manipulation) and specific exercise regime. The physiotherapist addresses the underlying cause of your problem in order to help prevent a recurrence.
Physiotherapists use a variety of skills to help you recover. Manipulation, mobilisation, soft tissue massage, electrotherapy, ultra sound and exercise programmes are some of the core treatments.
